If you haven't already, you shouldn't wait on filling up your gas tank, and making that trip to the grocery store.
Plenty of Southeast Texans have already stocked up on supplies as they fly off the shelves.
And in some places, people have even dried up the gas pumps.
"I am freezing right now! Whoo - it's very very cold out here" said Brenda Lund as she braves the cold weather.
Brenda Lund has come out to fill up her tank before she heads to work in Orange. But the Fuel isn't flowing.
"The gas is out because I'm assuming it's not letting me pump no more gas" said Lund.
At some gas stations, including one in Orange, people have been filling up extra jugs of gas, drying out most of the unleaded supply.
Further down the interstate people are flocking to grocery stores to fill their cabinets - just in case.
"We've been real busy and are glad to be helping people out - who are all loading up on firewood, water, in case things freeze up and really getting ready for the cold weather" said Paul Woodard with Market Basket.
And now that some resources are dwindling, Lund just hopes she can finish her errands before any severe weather comes to town.
"I'm thinkin twice now so tonight at eleven when I get off if it ain't bad I'm a go to Walmart -and I should have went and got some gas cans but I'm fixin to go to work so I'm stuck! hahah" said Lund.
