A man who operates a nationwide religious radio network has purchased a billboard along Interstate 10 in Orange County that says the world will end this May. The prediction is the second such prediction made by Harold Camping who is a radio host and president of Family Stations.
Camping's billboard along Interstate 10 says Judgment day is May 21, 2011. The Family Station web page makes a stronger statement saying, "THE END OF THE WORLD IS ALMOST HERE! HOLY GOD WILL BRING JUDGMENT DAY ON MAY 21, 2011."
A representative of Family Radio today spoke with 12NewsNow.Com by phone and said he could not make a statement at that time but promised a spokesperson would call back later in the day to explain why the group bought the billboard.
Family Stations also owns a radio station in Beaumont.
Camping made a similar prediction in 1994 that failed to come true.
