The drainage project on Calder is entering the final stage.
Although this last piece of the project could cause even more headaches for drivers.
Access to I-10 will be a bit more complicated.
Phase three will close both of the IH-10 feeder roads.
Both roads will be closed at the same time.
Tom Warner with the city of Beaumont said drivers will not be able to get underneath the freeway by means of Calder.
The city wants the project to move as quickly as possible so they will close both roads at the same time.
Phase three will start just east of I-10, continue down Calder to the intersection at Phelan Boulevard.
Warner said there will be detours in place and they are currently looking at using Maury Meyers over pass.
